Shepherd Auto Parts is the sole owner of all the information collected on this web site. We do not and will not sell, share, rent, or give out any information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this policy. We collect information from our customers to process orders and to better equip in our service to them (i.e. order confirmation and status updates). Information that is collected from the customers include their name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, email address, and payment information (i.e. credit card number). We also require the customer to obtain a username and password of their choice for access to their account information. To safeguard their information, we strongly recommend that they DO NOT TO SHARE THEIR INFORMATION with anyone. Their contact information can be used to deliver them newsletters or special promotions, which is optional.

ORDER

Most of the information collected from the customer will be used to process orders. During the collection, the customer will have to provide financial information such as their credit card number, expiration date, money order, wire transfer or check information. This information is used for billing purposes and to complete the order. If there is a problem with the order, we will proceed to contact the customer. To properly process the order, we must share the customer's financial and personal information with the merchant bank for authorization and approval. The sharing of this information with the merchant bank is transmitted over an enhanced security system. Please read the SECURITY section below for more information with any third party, except those who are specified in the SHARING section.

SHARING

We employ third party companies to perform function on our behalf, such as order fulfillment, package delivery, marketing assistance, postal delivery, data analysis, and credit processing. These third parties have limited access to the customer's personal and financial information.

SECURITY

Shepherd Auto Parts takes precautions to protect its customers' information. The information that the customers submit via the web site, it is protected both online and offline. Our order forms that request information from the customer, all the information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software currently available in the industry - SSL. Information to users' information is restricted and is accessed by employees with valid ID badges. Security cameras are installed throughout the building in conjunction with an alarm system. Only employees who need the information to perform their specific job are granted access. If the customer wishes to have their information removed from our database, please contact sales@shepherdautoparts.com but please be aware that once the information is deleted, any future orders will require the customer to reenter all the information required to complete the order. All Shepherd Auto Parts servers, including web servers and database servers are housed and maintained in secure locations. Access is strictly monitored and protected from outside access. Internet is restricted and protected by multiple Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls and password protection. Only personnel with the proper clearance may have access and tape backups are not permitted to leave the premises without prior authorization. All employees are kept up-to-date to the latest privacy practices and are notified every quartered as reminders of the importance of customer information privacy.

Products will be shipped within 3 business days after payments are received and cleared. We ship to the United States 48 Lower States (NOT INCLUDED PUERTO RICO, GUAM, HAWAII, ALASKA, VIRGIN ISLANDS & ALL MILITARY ADDRESS). Tracking information will be emailed to customer within 24 hours after item has been shipped out. Shipping fee includes shipping fee, handling fee & packing material fee. We do NOT take responsibility for lost or damaged items during shipping.

All sales are FINAL. All packages disputes must be reported within 7 days of receipt. All items returned must be in "New" condition with no damage, with all accessories and manuals, etc. A 20% re-stock fee will be apply for any refund items, and shipping will NOT be refunded back to the buyer under any circumstances. For all refunds, returns, exchanges and defects, items must be return to us before we process issue. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping cost. Returns are usually processed within 5 days from the time item is received. Returns with missing accessories will incur an additional 20% re-stock fee. All packaging must be in original state with original box.
